I have a `96 explorer, that i have removed the motor from. I put the dash, engine, wiring, everying from the explorer in my `88 ranger 4x4. o.k. heres my problem. when i was finished installing everying, the engine started and ran excellent, no misses, no noises. I shut it off to do some rear tail light wiring.an hour or so later i turned on the key and my fuel pump came on but would not shut off so i tryed to start the engine. no spark! i turned off the key and removed the batt. reset pcm turned key back on no fuel pump at all, still no spark i am confused and any info would be extreamly helpful.also which relay is fuel pump, which fuse.

Another possibility could be the fuel cut-off switch? It's what cuts fuel if the truck rolls.:navajo:
