Well I found this site because I'm having a problem with an explorer but upon thinking about it I guess I'm a bit of an explorer enthusiast as my father and I combined have owned alot of them and done alot of work on them over the years.
We've had the following
91 Eddie Bauer which lasted to 2??k thousand miles
96 Limited which I sold with 165k and was a great truck just needed something with better gas mileage
2004 Explorer XLT
Just bought a 2002 Explorer from a family member which needed some work and thats what brought me here.
I'm also going to be buying a 2005 Lincoln Aviator within the next few months which has been my dream ride since they came out in 2003. Now they are at least relatively affordable so I'm just waiting to find the right one at the right price.
I've always liked the vehicles. They have been very well made, are great for moving stuff around (When I went to college and played in a band they were fantastic, and now I have 2 dogs so add another reason to the list), and are really nice to drive.
So, hopefully I will be able to be at least a somewhat active member around here and hope to see some of you around.
