I'm new here (obviously), and wanted to introduce myself. I don't own an explorer but my best friend just got one and he's not all that keen on cars and such. I'm probably going to be doin most of the maintenance on the vehicle, and I know forums are a great source of information. I've already seafoamed, changed spark plugs, replaced both headlights, and did an oil change. Next on the list is air filter, and belts. It passed smog with flying colors and that was before the plugs and oil change. She runs beautifully now (engine was missing pretty badly til I changed the plugs). Anything I need to look out for?? 94 sport with manual trans.

Also I was thinking about gettin him a cat-back but Im having trouble finding one for the sport. Anyone have a suggestion? I want one thats deep and muscle car sounging if possible. I've tried youtube but the videos are kinds crappy and most make the explorer sound like a ricer.

Welcome to this forum! You will get more responses if you post questions in the stock 91-94 section. Replace the fuel filter, and clean the IAC, MAF, intake, and pcv valve.
