Hey I'm new and I have some questions if you can help

Hey all, I'm George, 17 years old and from Illinois. I have a 1994 Explorer XL with a 5 speed mazda tranny, with 2 wheel drive. Works good. I have pix here www.steffens.20megsfree.com/photo.html . Exhaust is a little rough. My few questions are the first: anyone know any common leak locations on the air conditioning system... i can re charge it but it works only for a week and then it leaks somewhere and no longer blows cold or turns the compressor on. I figure I have a loose connection somewhere or a broken one I can replace relatively easily.... any precautions to working on the a/c? Any ideas what could be leaking would be a help. My other question is my EGR tube / pipe from the egr valve to the exhaust manifold has a missing part in it somehow.... where can I buy a new (or used intact) one?? Or what kind of repair would work near permanent.... if anyone can help please EMAIL ME AT monkeydude3@cs.com as opposed to posting here if you can.... that would be great.... thanks everyone have a good one!!!

Welcome to the site.. Does yours still use R-12 or did you have the R134 kit installed for it.. I believe they make a leak detector for the R134 but not 100% sure on the R-12. You could probably get the hose for the EGR valve at the local parts store..
