Welcome to the site. What exactly are you looking for gas mileage? You do all the routine maintenance to the truck recently? Fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs wires oil changes? Everything really counts now a days when you are talking MPGs

Thanks ............... Just put this thing back on the road ,been sitting about 2 yrs .... I have a 86 ranger that I was driving , getting 24-26 mpg.
Then I get in this one , wow what a change , forgot how bad it was .
just changed everything ,still more to do .....did the oil and filter , plugs and wires ,fuel filter ...... was getting cel with codes 174,171, found plugged vacum lines to the vacum sensor (don't know correct name ), cleaned MAF sensor, and the fuel filter wasn't doing to well.
Cleared the codes but haven't driven it much since ,it didn't run bad but just wanted to freshen things up.
We tow an 12 ft open trailer with an 850lb race car on it , always lookin for a little bit more mileage .
4.0 ohv motor with about 131,000 on it , we had a bad winter last year figured the 4 wheel would come in handy if it snows like that again .
Was curious about some of the filter units and the controllers ,have read a good bit on here about them ......Any help is appreciated thanks Don
