Hello from the sunshine state
1999 tan/tan Explorer XLT 4.0. Nothing terribly special, 4x2, sometimes I jokingly call it a tall short station wagon.
At some point I wish to change the chrome headlamp trim to the proper painted variety and the front bumper (maybe the rear as well) to the black trim that would be found with the painted headlamp trim.
It's one of the two vehicles in which I learned to drive. A decade after that it became a gift from my father. A small dent over the right parking light bears evidence of my first car accident...bumping the pencil sharpener on dad's workbench. The pencil sharpener didn't even bend slightly. I've had to fix the armrest and the overhead temp display, now I just need to fix the rear wiper (the motor eating monster, 4 over the car's lifetime) and the cruise control switches. Sometime coming up I want to fix the spring in the driver's seat base, or simply replace the seat.
Good truck otherwise
