has anyone tried these for themselves, lots of good info on youtube, some young aussies had their story covered on local current affairs program, theirs is actuall home made and very succesful, cut fuel useage by 50%. Not so interested in hearing more 3rd party stories, but am listening guys

Actually making the generator is very easy, I made one that I fill balloons up with and then light them on fire. Everyone and their grandmother has an opinion on if it helps with fuel millage.

I've been working on some of my own designs, and there are many variables involved. The best way to increase its efficiency is to have the (+) & (-) sections intertwined as close as possible without the possibility of shorting, arching, and by not restricting the flow of water.

I've tried a few things, but the final result wasn't up to my expectations since I need some sort of porous dielectric material. I have a sample of high temperature porous velcro that I was planning on trying. It's the same stuff that they use in hair curlers. It might be sufficient, but it will need testing. Some materials have melted after a short test. The problem is that this velcro is very narrow, and a custom sheet would be several hundred dollars for a sample run, so I'm exploring other options. I've only found one company in China that manufactures it.

That is correct. I don't want to install something like this until I know that it's reliable, and won't fail after a short time. There are some good designs on the market, but the one I was working on isn't road worthy.
