Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rob, I'm from New England, and I picked up this 96 AWD from a family who had 3 Explorers (this one being their oldest which had been sitting for awhile) with only 110k on the clock for basically a steal. They were sick of looking at it and couldn't get it to start. With a little wrenching right in their driveway I was able to slap on some plates and drive it home minutes before the contractors working on their home were coming to take the new tires off of it and scrap it. Here's a pic of her I just went outside to take with my Blackberry. It just rained last night so it could be cleaner.

Enjoying my stay here and hoping to learn a lot.

Edit: Also, my brother has a 98 XLT SOHC so I'll be researching for him as well.
