Hi Explorers, new owner, need help.

I just got a hold of 92 Mazda Navajo and need some general advice.
I got it from junkyard with very minor side damage and one read wheel brake (I assume) locked up.
It has 167 K miles, rather than 67 shown on the odometer and 4.0L engine Automatic. Push button 4x4 on the dash. For some reason 4x4 indicator lights do not come on when I press those 2 buttons and it seems to be in 4x4 mode right now.
How reliable are those transmission, because I think Ford had issues with them first few years.

i'd baby that tranny like theres no tomorrow.
don't do anything that would put unsually stress on it..

cuz they weren't very good in the first years..some last a long time...but some don't

Is it ok to tow my boat (3300 Lb.) with it??
I will install cooling raditor for transmission.
