Hi, short and to the point my tranny is out on my Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 and looking to sell it for $1500 as is.

I registered on here in the hopes of selling it. I plan to take pics and post it for sale on EBAY and locally in the DFW area on Craigslist.

2nd owner (had since Aug of 2006)
128(k)
4spd auto/OD
4x4
laser red exterior
tan leather interior
moonroof
running boards
good wheels & 75%+ left on the tires
good brakes
40/60 split rear seat (60 split doesnt fold due to what looks like a busted wire)
replaced passenger side mirror
every panel has some kind of ding, scratch dent, etc. pics will clearly illustrate.

this was driven to and from my work about 5 miles round trip/day. longest trip i used it on was driving from KC where I bought it back to Dallas, TX (550 miles)

needs drivers side power lock motor
needs new transmission

im selling due to the fact that one i never have gotten around to fixing it since i have a 2nd vehicle, and that after moving last month, i can take public transportation to my work.

vehicle currently sits in a gated and secured location that i have 24/7 access to and can be driven a very short distance to a large open parking lot for loading onto a trailer. any potiental buyer is resonsable for shipping or pickup. sold as is, no warranty. $1500 firm!!!

problem: none of the forward gears engage, however, reverse does engage and is usable. when i hook up the OBDII reader it spits out a code referring to internal shift sylinoids "B" and "C".

the A/C is ice cold. this truck is bone dry and does not leak a drop or burn oil. it's dry underneath.

all you need to get this truck back runnning one the road is a transmission.

If you haven't put it up on eBay yet, don't. If you put it on Craigslist and on here, it should sell fast, and you won't have to pay for the eBay listing and fees. I'd try the first two, if it doesn't sell quick, then you can eBay it if you have some time to try... You'll save $100+ on a $1,500 truck if you don't have to sell it on eBay...

Toss up some pics, it'll help bump the sale here...

thanks J.D...

actually im 90% certian i have it sold just by word of mouth. i will know more this afternoon. i will keep all informed...:)
