Hey, I'm not really new here...been a member since 2011. At that time I was looking to buy an Explorer to play with, but the deal fell through and other things got in the way, sooooo....
Anyway, now I'm at a point where I'm looking at building a Bug Out Vehicle (BOV), and after looking at all the SUV's which could potentially suit my situation, I've narrowed the list down to the Explorer and the regular Cherokee. Now I'm scouring this place to see which one will be better.
I'm not after a massively jacked or modified ride...I need a strong, reliable, capable vehicle that can tow a trailer while hauling up to six adults and their supplies. I like the smaller SUV's because of fuel economy and better agility in the woods.
A primarily stock vehicle is important because in a disaster I need to be able to get replacement parts easily from scavenging if need be.
Glad to be here. Talk to you all later.
