2003 XLT SPORT
Just found this board and need some info.
I have a 2003 XLT SPORT ,which I've owned for 2 years now and today for the first time ,I hit the brake and it powered forward as if the gas pedal had been stepped on.

This happened twice in a row and it has been below zero here............so I'm wondering if this is just weather related or if there is a history of the Sport doing this?

wearing big shoes and pressed both pedals/ or driving with both feet?
if not, I wouldn't drive a vehicle with safety issues, and "cars" shouldn't act weird in the cold. It's an accident waiting to happen.

nothing like working a zero degrees regardless ice makes things stick make noises up under the car

welcome

Thanks.

There was no problems today,so I'm guessing it was just a weather glitch,it was bloody cold yesterday at -15. :)

Got my heart going though when I pumped the brakes and it sped up and starting sliding sideways..........lol

thanks again.

don't know about these "cold weather" glitches
My truck doesn't seem to have glitches at -30 celcius, and add another -10 C for windchill (-22 F, -40 F)

You're talking -15 C, right, that's warm.

Sounds like you slid on ice.
