The truck has been doing this for years and runs perfectly otherwise.

At a stoplight, with trans in Drive and foot on brake, the engine will occasionally skip a beat. I can feel the truck jump a little and the voltage gauge will usually fluctuate, all just for a split second. It always recovers instantly and other than this the truck has run strong for years without issue. No CM, KOEO or KOER codes.

A search didn't bring up much but did suggest a dirty or failing IAC. I'm fairly certain mine is clean, as I checked and cleaned it not long ago. Considering the truck seems to almost jump a little, I'm wondering if the torque converter is momentarily locking up.

Again this is only for a split second and has been going on for years, and isn't really getting worse. Everything is well maintained. Trans is believed original at 193k miles with some valve body upgrades and shift kit (had issue before all that), and it shifts perfectly.

Any ideas?
