High Idle

engine has 255,000..'bout a week ago I crank her up and the idle went up to around 2000-2500 rpm (normally idles @ 700-800). we have replaced or cleaned everything we can think of, even gave her a new 'brain'...thought we had it, ran great for 1/2 a day and then went back to the high idle...any ideas would be appreciated...Thanks and Blessings on ya <><

throttle cable, throttle body, iac valve?

mine did the exact same thing. took the iac valve off, then cleared it out with carb cleaner. let it dry then put it back on. fixed it!
