Tried searching for my issue and couldn't find anything like what I am experiencing so here we go.

Another issue has arisen with my Explorer. When it bought it the weather was still cold so I never even thought to check the AC. My old 2011 Explorer blew cold the whole time I had it with no issues.

So since it has been warming up here in CA I turned the air on and it only blew warm. I just tried using one of those recharge spray cans with the pressure gauge. Emptied the can and air was still blowing warm. After I turned the car off I can hear a hissing sound like air escaping coming from the front of the car.

So I have an appointment next Friday to drop my car off to my local Ford. Any ideas I should go in there with as they don't seem to be that great at their jobs. Took them two tries to diagnose my PTU issue and this will be the 5th time since I bought the car in Feb that I have had to drop it off.

You can get a dye to add to the system from an autoparts store. With a UV light you can then see where the leak is. You will have to check all the connection points, and the area under the A/C clutch as there is a seal in the compressor which could have went bad. I believe they sell a kit with the dye and UV light.
