do to my own mis conception of how much my explorer is really worth has led me to keep therefore needing to update some things...this is a lil off topic but lets pretend, the herculiner (bedliner tar type stuff) does it stop and prevent rust from developing/spreading. supposedly line-x does this, i would like to coat the inside of the x with either of the two for sound deadening...since there is rust of the x already i figured i ask...thanx, sorry bout the no sale to whoeva was interested

If you want to sound deadon, get a quality sound deadner like fatmat ( www.fatmat.com) or dynamat. Both of these products are available in a spray on type.
