My daughter just had her car(Not the Explorer) towed hear because it overheated and died. She said it blew coolant all over the windshield from under the hood. When the driver got it off the hook and I popped the hood, I found a dime size hole in the plastic coolant overflow reservoir. It looks like it melted partway and then blew out. My first guess is that the pressure cap stuck and the coolant found a weak spot in the reservoir. Has this happened to anyone here? Am I right in suspecting the pressure cap? Help please
