Hollister hills Feb 10

Any one up for a run in Hollister on Feb 10? I want to go out for the day if I can get a few to go with me. Let me know if you are interested.

I can't do it.

Several reasons - one is, I still haven't fixed my front diff. That will be middle of feb.

second reason (and the best one) - I'll be freezing my arse off in Rochester, MN.

Maybe in late March/April for me.

Thats to bad you haven't fixed that front locker tdavis let me know when you are ready for a run. Keep me posted baexplorer on how it looks. I am planning on leaving fresno around 6 am and figure that will put me at the ranger station at 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning. I have never been out there in my truck so i have no idea where anything is. Keep me posted.

i should know for sure friday, i'm stock height so i may be limited to where i will take my truck.ive been to hollister hills many times,if you go, all trails lead back to a main road so don't worry ,the trails are marked according to skill levels. i would like to go,i need to get out and see what my newer explorer will do.so i'll keep posting and let ya know.take care

I am only going to be able to be out there on saturday. I am planing on driving out sat morning and back sat night. Come i am sure there are more of you in the bay area that would be up for this

ok well ,i'm goin have to pass this time i need to make some repairs that have been held off for to long now. but,this is my goal, my refund check has been mailed and hopfully nothing else comes up! the next time i take my truck out it will be lifted with 32's. thats what i'm aiming for so hopefully all goes well.uncle sam owes me...i'm single dam it! so maybe in a few months i'll have to check out my lift so if your around we can get a few more ready rides together.take care have fun

Yeah Hollister is out by San Jose in California. I will be getting out there probably about 8:30 or so on saturday. I am going with a few people from the pirate4x4.com board. Should be fun to see what trails we run. I think of the group I am running I have the smallest tires and will be the only one without a super low range. Owell I guess I will learn to like the smell of burned clutch. I may have an open seat if anybody is interested I should know by tuesday or not. Maybe another time we can all go out there.

It is possible to go out there with a stocker. It had been raining for a few days before we got there and rained the whole time we were there. You justabout needed 4wd just to go down the main roads. Most of the trails we ran would have been real easy when dry but with them wet you slid in the ditch. I managed to trash my drivers fender big dent in the door and a few scracthes in the bed. It was a blast.
