Yea, wall mounted at 9' high with 24' vaulted ceilings.

BTW, the 15" sub IS amazing.

What are these speakers going to be used for? Music only? Home Theather? Or both? What amp are you using? What receiver are you using? I have heard/own(ed) all the speakers you've mentioned.

Yep. Another obsessed Home theater enthusiest/installer here!

The quote above are very good (and relevant questions)
I could suggest MANY speakers along the caliber of your listed choices.... but need more info.....and remember
no amount of test equipment or calibration can compete with the ultimate determining factor......YOUR ears!

Yea, I have been talking to John(UtahX) through e-mails. I have also been to check a few out, but the people in the audio stores wont let you play the music you like at the volume you want to hear... I understand this because some people are inconsiderate and could ruin a speaker. But seriously how am I supposed to choose when all they let you have is a flat EQ? Also I am liking(SP? ) the Klipsch more and more, because of the horn tweeter. Theese will be mostly used for just music, although I will watch some DVD's and play some video games on them.

if the salesman knows anything about anything he will allow you to eq them to your liking (within reason) and let you listen to them at a high level (within reason considering eq setting/power) as long as there isnt a buttload of people in the store.

When I went to the store here to look at the Paradigm(only store that carries them) The guy would not let me even touch anything... I then looked around the store and said "Are you going out of business?" (Store was very run down, **** hanging from ceiling tiles, carpet all torn up, walpaper coming off the walls) He said "No" I said "How can you expect to sell upscale model home audio exuipment like this... I have the money to buy theese, but the way this store looks, and the way you present yourself, makes me think you are a scam. I will just order them from elsewhere" Then left.

Yea....I agree with JamesT......
You should be able to audition any speaker of your choosing, with the software of your choosing, and at least at reference levels for a small period of time. AND you should be able to adjust the EQ settings on whatever amp/receiver/prepro is driving those speakers
and you should be able to jump back and forth between speakers (A/B comparisons).......
All of this is standard protocol when shopping for speakers....if someone or some store is not adhereing to this .....then Take your browsing and your money elsewhere!
