home made box for factory sub location???

I want to build a box to fit in the factory location. Does anyone have any experience with this or know of a place to find some info. I have started to measure the cavity that exists behind the panel but haven't had the time to work on anything.

I will take a picture of the factory box the think comes in if you havent seen it... ITs really funky and the amp is the size of a tissue box.
