Ok. I am in the middle of building a ceter console extension that will hold my CB, switches, any guages I add in the future etc.
I have a pretty decent start on it. At this point I need to get some carpet to line the sides to help hide my clearly novice wood work. I plan on using some sort of sheet wood for the top painted black to match the interior molding. This console will also hide any electrical wiring I will need for lights etc. I am hoing to run power to the console, but I am not sure if I will do constant 12v or switched with the key 12v or both.
What I really need to know, is how to hold it down. Right now its just set in there, and Im sure it will move around. Can I just screw it down into the hump? Sounds dangerous to me. Any ideas?
Thanks
Steven
