Hello, 2003 XLT has been sitting for a while. Went to charge up the battery and the hood latch arm from inside would not pop the latch under the hood.
I drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the grill as close as I could get to the latch assembley and shot some penetrating fluid in. I then pulled the latch from inside a few times and it feels like I may have broken the cable at the hood latch ???? Any ideas.......
