Has any one replaced a (97 or later) hood latch with a newer (98) one. I just put a new grill in and it's a b@*!! to open.(using screw driver) Or any other ideas?
Did you just replace the grill with a stock one? If you put in a billet grill or something like that, people have put in cables to release the safety latch. I'm guessing that you want something so you can release that latch without having to go through the grill? It seems like you should be able to just put in a newer latch, but would have to compare the latches and everything side by side to see how much different they are.
