Hood Switch Wire Location

Hello,

I was wondering if there is any closer way to tap into the hood switch wire besides having to run one all the way to it.

Does that wire run behind the dashboard by any chance? If so, what color is it, and where?

According to the wiring diagram, the hood switch wire is tan/light green; it runs from the switch to the RAP module (which is on drivers side of cargo compartment behind the trim panel). It's probably wrapped up in a wiring bundle down along the floor on the driver's side. You might find some access under the dash. Good luck.
