horn missing on 92 explorer

I just bought a 92 explorer and founf that the horn is missing. I have a new one but dont know where it goes or what wire goes to it. Any help would be great...also the wire color may help too....Thanx in advance

I remember seeing mine when I disassembled my front end... I want to say it's underneath one of the headlight assemblies, it might even be on the radiator support somewhere.

i just went out and looked...there is no horn that i can find...the truck came with a new horn so im guessing the old one is gone..so basically i need to find the wire that would go to it and the only wire i find in the area is a blue one but that doesnt work the horn

On my 92, it is located behind the driver's side headlight under the "shelf". Let me see if I can get a picture.

Here you go. You can see its round shape poking out from underneath the shelf.

Wow Thanks very much..no way i would have put it there...and now the blue wire thats near there makes sense!
