Horrible Alarm 01 Eddie Bauer 5.0 V8

Morning everyone, me again.
So Reina's at it again. Just rolled her over 200,000 miles on the odometer and she's throwing a tamper tantrum. Everything was nice and quiet last night, did like 350 miles of driving yesterday and she was a champ as usual.

Went to put gas in. Horrible, horrible (!!!) screaming alarm coming from the general area of the instrument panel that displays range, status etc. Won't turn off for anything until it feels like it! Tracked the noise down to #26 (pulled 1 fuse at a time til it quit lol) and found that #26 controls the whole blasted world (thanks to this forum!).

With it out, found that everything shifts fine and vehicle runs (the display on the instrument panel even changed as I drove, which is normal) *BUT* my power window controls DON'T work. When fuse is in, alarm to wake the dead but the windows work. Electrical is not my strong suit at all

I am also far from a mechanic - I replace parts but my diagnosic skills suck lol

Hi, my problem started same not too long time ago! Also gone interior lights, electric roof wipers (front/ rear). Changed GEM modul and everything working fine since then.....If just windows, I'm not sure, but if you have multiple electric issue, then can cause by faulty GEM!
