Houston...........we have a problem!!!

How much is really leaking? You getting a drop, a puddle, a river on the ground. Clean off the underside and then judge how much is leaking. If things are just damp, I would live with it - the engines got 100K+ miles on it.
I would NOT flush the engine, and theres no way I would add any stop leak. You are asking for more problems with flushes and stop leaks etc.
I WOULD check the torque on the fasteners
I WOULD continue to run the synthethic
I WOULD watch it see if it gets worse

I doubt you will get the engine rebuilt for 900-1000 bucks. Probably closer to 2500 unless you do most of it yourself.

SteveVB- i have regular oil in it now and it is not leaking barely at all. Im not going to do the Gunk motor flush, but i am going to do the stop leak pretty soon. If it completely stops with the no-leak i might go back to syntec but not sure. What are the negatives of the no leak.

Negatives would be - depending on whats in the product- clogged filter, and or oil pump valves, lifter problems, these would be if the product uses solids to fill voids. Explorers have lifter problems anyway, clogging the lifter metering passages and valves would be my concern. Others use solvents to swell seals- solvents reduce the lubricity (made up word I think) of the oil- basically dilute it. Theres a sticky on the additives on one of the forums.

If its not leaking with the dino, then I wouldnt mess with it.
