How bad is this?

I've had a couple of those ohc motors leak between the block and the first oil pan section, or whatever that middle section is called.

Just a little update...Went to Autozone and picked up the yellow glasses/uv flashlight kit($16) and the uv dye (for oil/fuel)($8). I will give it a go hopefully Sunday. BTW they sell 3 kinds of uv dye. 1 for oil/fuel 1 for cooling system 1 for a/c systems. I checked out the goodies real quick. Nope, cant use a regular led flashlight.(idk what I was thinking). I'll post back with results:cool:
 






been watching for drips for a few days now. Nothing to report. I saw a little drop at the bottom of the bell housing like usual. But, it didn't glow! I checked the oil through the dipstick and it was barely glowing yellow. Barely. The uv dye is orange and really bright at full strength. It said add one 1oz bottle for 5qts oil. I dont think this is strong enough to really show up. I will try another 1/2 bottle when I get a chance. Stuff is $8 though. Maybe because its syn oil? idk. I even waited till dark and crawled under the ST and shined that uv light everywhere and I also was practically inside my engine bay. Oh well. I'll update.

Na no updates yet if its not snowing here then its too cold to be outside this time of year. I'll most likely wait until it starts getting a little warmer. Hopefully soon though. I hope mine isn't anything crazy like the rear crank seal. I can deal with everything else. I'll start with the oil filter adapter o-ring and check the valve cover gaskets. I'll keep ya posted.
 






The rear main seal isn't hard to replace as long as the transmission, starter, oil pan are removed. :)
