Sometimes I like my privacy, but the darn cabin lights light me up every time I turn off the engine. Then after a minute they slowly fade. Any way to prevent that?

Dark car feature that can be applied with the Forscan application. I have not ventured down this pathway so I don't know anything about it but I remember reading about this feature. It's the same feature the police versions of the explorer use to keep the inside lights off when doors are opened.

Then again now that I am thinking about it you mentioned when the engine turns off. Well anyway, worth a look.

There is no setting to disable that. The only option I can see is to pull the fuse. There are 2 fuses that control the interior lights. Fuse #4 is for the 'Demand Lights' and fuse #12 is for the 'Courtesy Lights'. Unfortunately they are also used by other features. Check your Owner's Manual. So unless you are willing to live without the other features being powered, it looks like you may be out of luck unless Forscan is able to do the job.
