how do i align my gear indicator?

i looked for threads but didnt see any, my gear selector is about 1 gear off. so when im in drive it says 2 and 2 is 1. you get the idea, its annoying, can anyone help?

If you drop the lower steering wheel cover you will find a thumb wheel on the linkage under the shift lever. Just adjust to suit.
