How do I bleed the slave cylinder?

Hello, I am needing some help.

My son just put a new transmission in his 93 Explorer sport. We are having a HARD time getting the slave to bleed. Can anyone help us? Is there a trick we need to know or could we have a faulty slave?

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

My leg is numb from pumping the clutch. If someone doesn't help me soon I might never walk again.

The clutch on the Explorer/Ranger is one of the hardest clutches to bleed. The esaiest way to bleed the the clutch is with a vacuum bleeder.

The word Vaccum did the trick! We sucked the fluid thru instead of pushing it thru. Worked like a charm!
