How Do I fix steering wheel controls illumination?

Bare with me if my terminology is off. On the right side of my steering wheel the lights are out on the on/off buttons for the cruise control. All the other lights work on the wheel. How hard is it to replace bulbs?

very easy just pop off the covers

I heard rumors that you need to purchase the switch in its entirety and their was not a bulb to replace???

Most dealers pop on a new assembly, yep.
