Controls illumination

Found strange thing on my '07 LTD - some of controls and switches are not illuminated. It is strange for me, because on my BMW all controlls, buttons and switches are lighted. I cannot clear it up myself as I live in St.Petersburg, Russia, and though bought my Explorer from official Ford dealer here, they are of little help. Explorers are the rare ones in Russia (official annual sales round 1200 pcs all over the country) and the dealers are unaware of many details. So, the question is: is it a norm or I'd claim for repairs if the following controls are not illuminated when lights are on:
1. Moon roof control;
2. Window lock control;
3. Headlamp control (the switch itself, icons around are lighted);
4. Panel dimmer control;
5. Power side view mirrors control;
6. Headlamps vertical aim correction control.

Check around please and let me know.

Those controls (the ones of those that I have) are not illuminated on my 2002 XLT. I think it's a bit strange too, but apparently it's normal.

OK using my 06 V8 Eddie Bauer Explorer...
1. Moon roof control; NOT LIGHTED
2. Window lock control; NOT LIGHTED
3. Headlamp control (the switch itself, icons around are lighted); NOT LIGHTED
4. Panel dimmer control; NOT LIGHTED
5. Power side view mirrors control; NOT LIGHTED
6. Headlamps vertical aim correction control. (not on US/Canadian vehicles..) I forget the posters name, but there is a German registered Exp on here... maybe he has the info?

Some relief. Explorer is a great vehicle. But Ford's neglect to useful details sometimes disappoints. Especially when you pay 62+ grands for 4.6 LTD 4x4 without fog lights, park assist and navigation. Those are not in options list here, had to install extra.
