How do I get teh lines off of the fuel filter??

Hello all,

Performing my first tune up on my Ex and have a question to only one problem i had. How do i get the fuel lines off of the filter?? Is there a special tool? or is it just twist and pull?? from what i can see, it looks like one of those spring loaded things. thanks in advance.

yes there is a special tool... it goes around the line on the fuel filter, but below the actual fuel line itself.

You can rent the tool free at Auto Zone, Advance, Pep Boys, etc

I bought that tool at NAPA for around $7, it helped a LOT...
