how do i get the over head consol down?

how do i unbolt the over head consol?? i need it down so i can paint it..thank's!

lol..im sitting in the truck with the door open trying to figure it out well the handel dry's and i burn my friggin finger's on it when i try to messw tih it cause the light's are on..lol

but does anyone know..im lost?

Its not bolted on, at least mine is nt ( I have the moon roof ). There are two "sna; in" fittings on the front and in the rear it just slips under the trim for the moon roof.

Then you have to disconnect the wire connectors to remove it.

i have a sun roof(it is a limited..lol) so just pull down on it?

Its a tight fit and kinda scary the first time you pull it down.
