My truck (london) has been sitting around latley, she needs some work and i refuse to drive her untill she is 100%. Now when i went to put the fan blade and shocks i ordered in the back, i found four wasp nests. Can anyone tell me how to make them stay away? Ive heard bounce dryer sheets work, kinda skeptical but will try anything. Much appreciative.

Roll up the windows.

destroy the nests, move the truck somewhere else. if the nests are inside the vehicle you can cover up the few holes (like under your brake light assembly) that would allow them into the vehicle, if there under the vehicle just spray with water, or drive away real fast. :)

Dryer sheets are good for rodent problems. Just get some mothballs, that will get rid of the bugs.

In the mean time, take a propane torch to the nests while they are not active and kill em all off.

Smoke a ***:uk:. (That don't mean kill a gay):us:

I have kind of the same problem every year only with Black widow spiders. I spray around the truck out side and also set off two bug bombs under it one under the back seat area and one under the motor area. I also have to set at lest one off inside also as I get them there too. I do not want the grandbaby or my self getting bit as I am highly allergic to bug bites. It may work for you also but at lest with yours you know at night or in cold weather there not going to be too active and being that a good smug smoke pot will also drive them away.

Good luck as its hard finding and sealing all the holes they seam to find. Ya we get the wasp also but in the dang house. They get in from the attic then come in throw areas in the walls were there is an opening. Just no fun I tell you but that’s the cost of living in an old home in the country.

start killing them off by setting up wasp traps. Put a peice of raw chicken in the 2 liter or whatever container you are using and it will attract them like crazy. I use this tactic when I am camping. Get a few of these devices and set em up around your truck.

Holy crap!

Lehman's is 15 minutes from my house. I didn't know that you guys knew of them all the way out there.

I have yet to find a wasp prevention, just wasp killer for after the fact :(.

Is it possible to move the vehicle to different spots every couple of days? I know that wasps don't like roaming homes.

I used to work in the HVAC trade and if we came upon a new client chances were the Air Conditioner was over run with wasp. I figured out that if you just keep knocking them down and killing them whenever they start to build a nest they tend to find a new home, either that or I must have killed them all off. I would do monthly or quarterly service to the A/C and belive me I would keep about 10 cans of wasp spray in the truck at all the times. It was kinda fun because those wasps are relentless, I would have a buddy watch my back with wasp spray in hand while I fix the A/C.

Just keep checking the truck and killing the wasps and knocking the nest down. Dont give them a chance to rebuild and they will probably move on.

Im gonna be dilligent in checking/killing. Have enough wasp spray ATM and i think i killed the main wasp that kept comin back with tge hose and my foot. Well see.

We have wasp most every year. When I see them flying around I look for the nest. When I find it I wait till early in the morning when it is cool and they are all in the nest. Brake Parts cleaner works good. Just hit it with a good long shot and soak it down and the same with any that drop out of the nest. Leave the soaked nest.

And they're back again, earlier then last year though. -_- these things are determined
