Yea, I ordered (3) Ford Spare Keys off of Ebay complete with the Transponder Chip. I got the keys cut so they now fit.

The problem is, according to the instructions, you must have TWO keys in your Explorer to program the spare keys (that I just bought). I have only have ONE key!

What do I do?

Take it to the dealer.

Or tape your good key up under the dash. :D

You will need to take it to a stealership and get raped to have them program you a new key. Phone around to see what they charge. Some locksmiths can do it as well. I've heard they're a bit cheaper, but not much. After that, make sure to always have at least 2 spare keys around at all time in addition to your main set of keys.

Since you only need one key programmed, only pay for one, then do the rest yourself. It's a 30 second exercise/key and dead easy to do.

You don't. You must have a dealer or locksmith connect a programmer to the system to wipe out your old keys and program the new ones. Without two keys, you can't do it yourself.

Call around. I found that most of the locksmiths in the area charged $60-$70 to do it, where my dealer only charged $35 to do it.
