How do you get your truck green stickered?

Went to the DMV yesterday to switch titles on the two Zuks I bought. One I think I can sqeek by on the smog. The other I know wont pass smog. I told her I wanted to get a green sticker cause it won't be street legal. She said she has never heard of this and it can't be done??????? She said they only issue green sticker for motor cycles, ATVs and dune buggys. I told her I know it can be done cause I know people who just tow thier rigs up to the trails. She said call them up and find out how they did it. So who out there (Tom Davis) has thier rig green tagged and how did you do it? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Tom's is street legal. Most guys that trailer their rigs still keep the rigs street legal.

I would call the DMV and ask again. I've found you get different info from different people there.

Thanks Bill. I could have sworn Tom's wasn't street legal? I'm still trying to get it smogged and have a guy who is willing to do it. Just not sure how much he's going to charge me. Now I have to figure out what to do with my other Zuk??

sell it to me really cheap anyways, yes it can be green stickered.. most of the poeple who work at dmv are not the brightest crayons in the box, normally around the grey or darker colors really....
