Thank you guys for the suggestions about the brakes. I changed the driver's side today without any problems, hopefully, but the passenger side needs a new rotor and a new hose. I got the old rotor off and ordered a new one, and will replace the outer bearing and inner and outer greace seals. The job cost $126 just for parts at Advance though, which seems high to me. I guess if I took it to a brake place it would have cost more like $300 though?

The hose looks pretty easy, but I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to not let too much brake fluid escape, so there's not too much trouble with bleeding. Also any other advice or tricks would be much appreciated.

The rotor is pretty straight forward. Once you get it all hooked up, just go ahead and flush the whole brake system.

You'll be glad you did. Odds are on a vehicle that old.......its time for new brake fluid.

Once you disconnect the hose, the master cylinder will drain pretty fast, and you will have to bleed the brakes. I recommend speed bleeder screws for the calipers to make the job easier. Don't expect to make the brakes perfect after bleeding them one time around. Always start from the wheel which is the furthest away from the master cylinder.

How do speed bleeder screws work? Do I need to replace all of them on all calipers before beggining the actual bleeding of the system?
