My air filter on my 2002 was nasty and I think it is the culprit, I want to reset the code after I change it to make sure, how do you do it, or does it have to be done with a OBD unit?

Thanks Tom

Unhook the positive battery terminal and hold the break pedal down for 30 seconds, or take the positive terminal off and touch it to the negative terminal. Then re-attach.

Thanks for the info, I knew it had to be something easy!

I wouldn't go touching terminals together myself, the way I know it is. Just unhook the negative terminal for a few minutes and it should reset. OBDII resets the light anyway once the problem is gone, so if you think you've fixed the problem and the light is still on its prob. still there. The code will be stored in the computer but the light should be gone.

Well you should not short the terminals when there still hooked up.....You pull the POS off and touch it to the NEG side. Worked at an auto shop, my boss told me about it. Hes been mechinecking for over 20 yrs. Never damaged anything by doing so. But its up to ones personal preference.
