How hard is it to do the brakes on a 94 Ex? What do I need to look for? What kind of tools do I need?

Its a snap. You'll need a torque wrench and a hub socket if you're planning on getting the rotors turned. If one pad is worn a lot more than the other it means that the caliper isnt functioning properly. For $25 a caliper its easier to just replace them then trying to figure out what's wrong. Do yourself a favour. Park the truck overnight and work on it in the morning so that the brake pressure dissapears. Getting the calipers off and on will be easy. You'll also need some wheel bearing grease.

i think it all depends on your handy skills
the 4x4 is going to be a bit more difficult than just standard front brakes on cars.

theres a bit more to the front you have to deal with.

i have no mechanical skill so i had a friend check them out.....he said mine where fine, just metal fibers in the brake pad squeeking against the metal rotor,.
