How is the battery held down?

Had to replace my battery today, and I found no way to hold the new one down. I'm not even sure how the one I had been running with was held in place. I'm told it's some sort of wedge that locks in with a bolt against the battery? Is this accurate?

Is this what I'm missing?

Those work but I prefer the type that clamps the battery to the plate under it.

Or a box made for your battery.

How does the custom box bolt down at the base? I've not taken a good look at the plate under the battery.

I like that mount on the yellow top above..

The other one above that covers the entire top would make me nervous. It would limit how the cable and end would have to be positioned.

For the correct sized battery the stock mount works well, but that limits you on your battery choices..

Simple. A few bolts and nuts to the holes already in the metal under the battery.

Those are pics I found on the web. I actually run a red top and have the battery tied down with a similar set up as in the top pic along with a cinch strap. If I roll my rig, I want that battery staying in place, not free to do damage under the hood if it gets loose.
