Hey people, does anybody know if those Cobra R Rims everybody loves will hold my Explorer with four guys in it including myself while pulling a trailer with two ATV's? I am thinking no, but I want to hear what the PRO'S have to say about it!! I look forward to reading all of your replies.

:-)

well

Depends what your complete setup is going to be...what size tires? new suspension? I'm sure they'll hold your loaded Explorer just fine..and as long as you dont load down the rear so much it sags you wont be overloading the wheels/tires. I dont think they'll bust from a load...the prob is if you use something like a 285/45ZR18 tire, with all the extra weight on the suspension plus a heavier vehicle, you might get a big flat spot in your rim or pinch your tire if you hit a pothole or a big bump.

If youre goin to lower your ride and maybe get air suspension or something good and know how to cruise low, you should be ok.

i agree. the cobra r's are just like any other wheel and you should have no problem's toting a couple hundred extra lbs.. if you do, i think ford performance has a law suit coming their way.
