How necessary are rotor screws? I have to drill mine off to install new rotors since the old ones are seized on.
 






The purpose is for holding the rotors on during manufacturing. They are not needed.
 






Thanks! I ended up drilling mine off in hopes that I didn't need it. The screw destroyed my security bit when I tried to take it off.
