I was surprised to see that a search did not reveal the answer to the topics question.
I put a new HU into my 2002 Mountaineer and just like I was expecting no sound out of the factory sub. With the use of a wiring schematic and this forum I know that the 8 pin connector with the 4 wires is the one for the sub. I just have no idea how to connect. The new HU is a Clarion MAX675VDII. The wiring on the HU has a blue/white labeled amp turn on. The 8 pin connector has 4 wires, LT Blue/Red, Brown/Orange, Bare, and Red/Black. If someone could tell me what those 4 wires are for I could probably figure out how to hook the sub up. But, if someone is willing to say what wire to what wire then that would be great.
