hey everyone, i just built a custom sub box and i figured i'd post up some pics and the way i built it. I started out by taking out the recessed panel on the passenger side in the cargo area. i had to cut a little bit out to gain access. i then built a box by tracing and calculating dementions then i routed and carpeted the box. here are some pics. i can post the actual dementions if someone is interested.

That's pretty nifty! Does the box slide all the way in or mount to the plastic?

just slides in. i made it such a tight fit that it takes me about 10 minutes just to get the box in haha. i was going to mount it, but it's such a snug fit, i don't see any reason to.

it's now for sale if anybody is interested, $200 shipped to anywhere in the usa. comes with box, 1 10" JL 10W3v2 sub, 700watt kicker amp, and all the necessary wiring and fuses.

out of curiousity, how does just one 10" sub sound? and where did u mount the amp?

the amp is mounted to the back of the sub, and it sounds great. NO rattles, distortion or anything. you'd think it would sound like garbage because of the tiny box but it really sounds great. Is it window rattling-hair standing bass? no. but it definitally makes up for the lows that your stock 5x7's or even aftermarket 6x9's don't have. in my opinoin, it is completely worth the money if you're looking for good, clean bass and still have you're entire cargo area. JL subs are most definitally loud, and this is a dual voice coil, so you know it makes some noise!

$150 shipped, like i said, totally worth it.

i'm looking for some nice 6x9's and a set of euro clear headlights, corner lights and parking lights. got any of that to trade?
