How to find a where this transmission came from

Ok, I skimmed over this because things got heated. So the transmission you got is either a salvage yard unit or a rebuilt but highly doubt its new. Take it to an independent repair shop, preferably one that services and rebuilds transmissions. It might require programming or a rebuild. But if you are not happy what your hearing from the dealer, take it to another dealer. They all say Ford but there all different. Jack Ford of Anytown, will be different from Joe Ford of Anothertown. I wish you the best of luck with this and I hope it works out but its time for a second opinion from someone else you trust.
