How to fix fuel gage

Hey everyone,my name is rob, I have a 2002 Ford Explorer and my fuel gage is stuck on full, does anyone know how to fix it or should I go to a mechanic

It is probably your sending unit in your gas tank if you don't mind getting gas on you you can put a new fuel fuel pump assembly in the tank if any more questions just ask everyone on here helps everone I am marks ford
