How much farther up is the rear than the front? I'm gonna say that 3 inch coils would do the trick?

the front sits a little lower than rear ,like how most trucks are, what i want to know is what can i do to lift the front a bit so it sits level before i put another 3in of body lift on.

ive already got biger coils inthe front front my lift. look at the pics.pics

F-150 spacers. 35 bux. Will give you about 1.5 inchs up front.

Yeah, I would agree with Ryan. I had those spacers and they fit tight. Also know off someone using coil spacers bought from autoparts store. Not as stout as f-150 spacers though. Is the rear lift one or two add a leaf?

i think its one leaf but im not sure , where do i get the f-150 coil spacers? there not those things that u take a socket and turn them into your coils are they?

you can get them from ford or off this websight a guy by the name of Boatsrcool has some forsale.

They are not the little spring spacers.
They are the spring seats for ford f-150's and they mount under you front coil spring.

Ryan

is that where everybody else gets there f-150 coil spacers ,at a ford dealership? is there anyplace else cause a dealership will probly charge an arm and a leg.

The f-150 spring seats (spacers) cost < $50 from a dealer...

The ford dealer in my area charged 34+ change for both of mine. Why one cost more than the other, I have no idea, but I think one was 16 dollars the other was 18 dollars.

so i go to a dealer ask for f-150 spring seats ,then how do i install them

one more ?
the reason im interested in the spiring seats is because i wanna try to make my X sit fairly level before i add a 3in body lift . would it look weird to go without tring to level my X and just go with the body lift cause its 2wd so the front sits a little lower than the rear. when i got my 2in susp lift it was a bit more noticeable.
so im afraid it will be really noticeable and look stupid when i add 3 more inches of lift.

Look for a guy on here name BoatsRcool He has/had a set forsale for 35 bux. Also go to www.fordpartsnetwork.com they have them

easy to install Remove your front spring put the seat on the I beam and put your spring on top of that and put the big bolt back on.

Ryan

ive read alot of posts on the coil spacers and are they for 4x4s only or will they fit on my 2wd X

I believe the bolt that goes through the spring seat is shorter on the two wheel drive...

If so you will need that bolt off a 4 wheel drive..

As for installing.. just lift/support the vehicle..
pull the tire..
pull the 28mm nut at the bottom of the spring.. (I think its 28mm)...
Rotate the spring counter clockwise to allow it release from the upper mount.
push down on the axle assembly (hub area) and remove the spring... (you "might" have to disconnect the sway bar to do this.)

Now put the spring seat on.. then the spring... and jack up the axle a bit to allow you to put the spring back in the upper seat.. then put on the bolt and tighten it up..
put the tire back on and your set...

In your case you "may" have to replace the acutal bolt that the 28mm nut is on.

but if i dont put the spacers on and just go with the 3in body lift on top of my 2in susp lift will it look funny? with the front a bit lower?
