my truck never has had the rear end sag issue, but now ive got this horrible paranoia that its starting to develop it. from some angles it looks perfectly fine, but from others, it looks a touch saggy; i just cant tell, so i need to measure, and ill adjust the torsion bars accordingly.
now, ive tried a search and read some threads about this, but i havent found what im looking for. i plan to measure from the ground (the floor in my garage, since its level) to the top of the wheel well...now heres my question: arent the wheel wells cut higher in the front of the truck than they are in the rear? so how you can tell if theres sag, if the measurement up front is supossed to be greater than the measurement in the rear? i mean, if i make all 4 measurements equal, then when i stand back and look at the truck, itll look like its "nosediving", wont it?
im confused, i need help; please help me!
i only have this weekend to do it, cuz i go back to my apartment on sunday afternoon (which is 100 miles away) and i wont have access to a level ground or anything to accurately leasure the sag for a number of weeks.
thanks.
